Mary Luz continues Joshua Searle's exploration of memory, identity, and inheritance through sculptural abstraction.
Inspired by Colombian archaeological artefacts and family history, the work reinterprets a Calima-Llama figure. Named after a relative, it becomes a symbolic portrait of resilience, merging ancestral ritual with personal narrative in a contemporary visual language.
